8 nights, Barcelona to Barcelona
Explora's name for it: A Journey of Iberian Scenery & Moorish Charm
Eight nights, six stops, and a round-trip out of Barcelona that never points you toward the open Atlantic for long. The arc runs down Spain's coast, dips across the Strait to Morocco, then up to Lisbon before turning back. The pace is steady rather than restful: six calls in eight nights means most days you are ashore, with one good stretch of sea between Tangier and Lisbon to catch your breath. The hooks are walkable cities, not resorts. Palma earns its day on density, a Gothic cathedral rising straight off the seafront and an old town you cover on foot in roughly a square kilometer. In Málaga you graze the tapas counters at Mercado de Atarazanas and climb straight to the Alcazaba next door. Tangier hands you a walled medina and a hilltop kasbah in one compact loop. Lisbon drops you at the foot of Alfama, a medieval tangle of staircases and miradouros.
This rewards a traveler who wants a city a day and likes covering ground on foot. The catch is the gateways: Barcelona and Palma both berth well outside the center, so you spend part of those days getting in and back. If you want sea time and slow mornings, a different itinerary fits you better. If you want range, range is what this delivers.
Explora I is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
