EXPLORA I · Mediterranean & Western Europe

10 nights, Barcelona to Barcelona

October 21, 2026 – November 1, 2026 · 10 nights · 7 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: A Journey of Beguiling Landscapes & Enchanting Mediterranean Delights

Ten nights, seven stops, out of Barcelona and back to it. This is a port-dense run down the Spanish coast, across to the Atlantic edge of Morocco, and home along the Costa del Sol, with no real cruising days to coast through. The shape rewards a traveler who likes a city a day. Barcelona alone gives you Gaudí and a 2,000-year-old Roman and medieval core in one walkable morning. Lisbon drops you at the foot of Alfama, with the riverside Baixa a short walk the other way. Casablanca's case rests almost entirely on the Hassan II Mosque, built partly out over the ocean and seen only on a fixed guided tour. Tangier hands you a compact medina-and-kasbah loop on foot from the marina terminal.

Be honest with yourself about the gateway ports. Motril is a working commercial harbor, not a destination; its payoff is the Alhambra, and the drive inland runs about 65 to 70 km each way and eats most of the day. Casablanca reads more lived-in than scenic once you leave the mosque. If you want slow days and one anchor city, this is the wrong itinerary. If you want range, Iberia's old towns plus two Moroccan crossings, and you don't mind moving, it delivers. Alicante's hilltop fortress and Málaga's Roman theater fill the lighter days well.

EXPLORA I is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
