EXPLORA II · Mediterranean & Western Europe

11 nights, Barcelona to Lisbon

February 11, 2027 – February 23, 2027 · 11 nights · 9 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey from Morocco's Rich Culture to Stunning Atlantic Islands

This 11-night, one-way sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon strings together nine calls across Spain, Morocco, and Portugal, and the arc moves fast. It opens Mediterranean, in Barcelona where you can stand inside Sagrada Família in the morning and be lost in the Gothic Quarter by afternoon, then crosses to the Atlantic coast of Morocco. Tangier rewards the walk off the ship: a petit taxi up to the kasbah, then down on foot through the medina to the Grand Socco near the port. Casablanca rests almost entirely on one building, the Hassan II Mosque, partly built out over the ocean, and the interior is only open on a fixed-schedule guided tour. Then the Canaries: the volcanic lava fields of Timanfaya off Arrecife, the cloud-forest interior above San Sebastián de La Gomera, and the cobbled, balcony-hung old town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, the world's first Starlight Reserve. Funchal pairs its 1940 market with the cable car up to Monte.

This itinerary rewards a traveler who wants range over rest. Nine stops in eleven nights is a steady march, and a few ports start with an industrial pier and a shuttle that eats part of the morning, Casablanca and Agadir among them. If you want long, unhurried days in one place, pick a slower route. If you want to read three countries and a string of Atlantic islands in one go, this is the one.

Explora II is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
