Weather and when to visit

• Late spring to early autumn (May to September). Warm, humid, and subtropical; this is the rainy season and the typhoon window, so a call here can mean heavy showers or rerouting. Summer days run into the upper 80s F.
• Autumn to spring (October to April). Milder and drier with comfortable days, the more settled window for the island. Winters are mild rather than cold.
