6 nights, Miami to San Juan
Explora's name for it: A Journey of Caribbean Adventure & Shimmering Tropical Harmony
Six nights, six islands, every one a shore stop and no day fully at sea: this is a port-collector's route, running one-way from Miami down through the eastern Caribbean to San Juan. You wake somewhere new most mornings. The arc rewards range over depth. In Miami, the free Metromover loop drops you at the door of PAMM and Frost Science and doubles as a bay-and-skyline circuit, with Wynwood's murals and Little Havana's Cuban cafes a quick hop inland. Cruz Bay tenders you into a town where two-thirds of Saint John is national park, and the Lind Point Trail behind the visitor center walks you to a near-empty Honeymoon Beach. Terre-de-Haut is a few square kilometers of red-roofed Creole houses where you time Fort Napoleon before it closes around 12:30, then buy tourment d'amour warm from a harbor stand. San Juan ties up in the old quarter itself, so the Paseo de la Princesa and El Morro are a short walk from the gangway.
This itinerary rewards travelers who want a new island under their feet most days and do not mind tendering twice, at Cruz Bay and Terre-de-Haut, which eats a slice of each morning. If you want long sea days, slow beach time, or fewer logistics, pick a different route. Miami is mostly a gateway day, and St. John's and Philipsburg are easy, low-friction stops rather than the trip's reason. Pick this for breadth across six countries.
The ship is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
