EXPLORA I · Caribbean & Central America

6 nights, San Juan to Miami

December 20, 2026 – December 27, 2026 · 6 nights · 6 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey of Caribbean Celebrations & Island Wonders

Six nights, six islands, no sea days. This run starts where the ship ties up at the Old San Juan piers, so the walled colonial quarter and the climb to El Morro begin a few steps from the gangway, then threads down the chain through the small Caribbean ports. Basseterre puts you within a five-minute walk of town and forces one good decision: the Scenic Railway and Brimstone Hill sit on opposite sides of St Kitts, so pick one before you dock. Road Town's own draw is modest, but the ferry terminal is a short walk from the ship and the crossing to The Baths on Virgin Gorda reaches a far better sight than anything on Tortola. Gustavia keeps large ships out by design, so the harbor never crowds. Road Bay tenders you straight onto Sandy Ground Beach, with Anguilla's longer sand a taxi away. The arc ends at PortMiami.

This is a port-dense itinerary for someone who wants island variety at a steady clip, walkable centers, and the freedom to read each call differently. It is the wrong pick if you want sea days to do nothing, or a single-island stay. Two of these calls are tender ports, where swell, not the shore, sets the day, and Miami is a disembarkation day, not a full one. The beach islands reward a taxi and an early start more than they reward a packed tour.

The ship is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
