EXPLORA I · Mediterranean & Western Europe

10 nights, Barcelona to Barcelona

April 12, 2027 – April 23, 2027 · 10 nights · 8 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: A Journey from Mediterranean Flair to Atlantic Splendour

This is a 10-night round trip from Barcelona that runs the Atlantic edge: down the Moroccan coast, out to the Canary Islands, then back up through Madeira to Cádiz before returning. Eight stops, no scenic-only cruising days, so the pace is steady and port-heavy. Casablanca's case rests almost entirely on one building, the Hassan II Mosque, part of it built out over the water, with interior access only by timed tour. Arrecife is the gateway to Lanzarote's volcanic landscape, the lava fields of Timanfaya and César Manrique's cave-and-art sites. Funchal pairs a flat old town and its 1940 market with the cable car up to Monte and a wicker-sled descent steered on foot down public street. Cádiz ties up at the edge of one of Western Europe's oldest old towns, with a baroque cathedral and a Roman theatre on foot from the gangway.

This itinerary rewards travelers who want range over depth: a different country or island most days, much of it walkable straight off the ship. Skip it if you want slow sea days or one region explored in depth, because the stops come fast and most calls are a single day.

Explora I is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
