EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

6 nights, Miami to San Juan

October 25, 2026 – November 1, 2026 · 6 nights · 6 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey of Caribbean Adventure & Shimmering Tropical Harmony

This is a one-way run, Miami to San Juan, six nights and six stops with no doubling back, so every day puts you somewhere new. The arc runs from the busiest cruise port in the United States down through the Lesser Antilles. Cruz Bay on Saint John is the quiet outlier: two-thirds of the island is national park, the ship anchors off and tenders in, and the Lind Point Trail behind the visitor center walks you to a near-empty beach while everyone else fights for a taxi. Terre-de-Haut in the Saintes is the French note, a few square kilometers of red-roofed Creole houses where you time Fort Napoleon first thing because it shuts around 12:30. San Juan closes the route inside the walled old town, with the ship tied up on Marina Street and El Morro a walk uphill.

This sailing rewards a traveler who likes a packed, varied week and does not mind tendering. Three of the six stops are anchor-and-tender, so build in queue time and skip this if you want every port walkable off the gangway. It also leans beach-and-history rather than nightlife. Antigua and Saint John are about the sand, not the shops. If you want a slow, few-stops run, pick a different itinerary; this one keeps moving.

Explora III is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
