EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

6 nights, San Juan to Miami

November 1, 2026 – November 8, 2026 · 6 nights · 6 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey into Caribbean Exploration & Island Delights

Six nights, six calls, no sea days: a one-way run that starts in San Juan and ends at PortMiami, stitching the northern Leeward Islands together at a brisk clip. The ship ties up at the Old San Juan piers themselves, so the cobbled grid of plazas and the cathedral are a few minutes' walk and El Morro a climb uphill. Walk the Paseo de la Princesa early, before the heat. From there it pinballs through small, walkable capitals: Basseterre, where the day turns on a single choice between Brimstone Hill and the scenic railway on opposite sides of St Kitts, and Gustavia, the harbor town on St Barths that keeps big ships out, so you tender in among red roofs and a yacht harbor. Two stops are beach plays. From Road Town you can ferry roughly 30 minutes to The Baths on Virgin Gorda, a far better sight than Tortola itself; at Road Bay you land straight onto Sandy Ground Beach, then taxi to Shoal Bay East for the sand Anguilla is known for.

This rewards an active port-hopper who wants a new island most mornings and does not mind that two calls depend on tenders and a third on catching a ferry. If you want long, slow beach days or fewer moves, skip it. Gateway days in San Juan and Miami each give you a full city, not a sprint.

Explora III is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
