EXPLORA IV · Northern Europe, Iceland & Greenland

7 nights, Copenhagen to Copenhagen

May 10, 2027 – May 18, 2027 · 7 nights · 6 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: A Journey through Nordic Charms & Baltic Treasures

Seven nights, six calls, and almost no sea days: this is a dense Baltic loop out of Copenhagen that strings together four capitals and two islands, most of them small enough to walk. You start and end where the quays sit on the water near the royal district, close enough that the Langelinie berth puts the Little Mermaid, the Kastellet star fort, and Amalienborg in one unbroken waterfront line, timed to the noon guard change. Helsinki hands you the Suomenlinna sea fortress, reachable on the same public ferry locals ride from Market Square. Stockholm's archipelago approach is half the call, with Gamla Stan and the Vasa warship a short ferry hop away. Tallinn and Visby are the medieval anchors: a near-complete walled Old Town in one, a 3.4 km ring of towers in the other.

This rewards a walker who likes compact old towns and doesn't mind a new one each morning. The pace is brisk, so if you want sea days to decompress, look elsewhere. Bornholm and Visby reward people willing to leave the quay behind; the Hammershus ruins sit well beyond Rønne's painted lanes. And several berths, Stockholm's and Helsinki's among them, can put a walk or a bus between you and the center, so weigh mobility honestly.

EXPLORA IV is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
