• The Royal Walls of Ceuta (Murallas Reales), a fortification complex with parts dating to the 900s and a navigable moat, open to walk for coastal panoramas
• Parque Maritimo del Mediterraneo, a saltwater-lake and garden leisure complex designed by Canary Islands artist Cesar Manrique, a short walk from the center
• The House of the Dragons (Casa de los Dragones), a 1905 building on Plaza de los Reyes topped with four bronze dragons
• Paseo del Revellin, the main shopping street, reachable on foot in under 10 minutes from the pier
• The medieval Arab Baths and the Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Asuncion in the old core

Getting ashore

Ships dock at Muelle Espana, roughly 100 meters to a 10-minute walk from the city center, so you step off and into town with no transfer. One day covers the walled center, the maritime park, and a viewpoint run; cross-border trips to Tetouan or Tangier are possible but eat the day at the Morocco frontier.

Weather and when to visit

• April to May. Typically the best window, mild and comfortable with highs in the upper teens to low 20s C and gradually drying weather. Pleasant for walking the walls.
• September to October. Warm and largely settled, highs around 22 to 26C with sea temperatures still warm, though autumn can bring occasional rainy spells.
• November. Mild and cooler, highs near 18 to 19C, with rain becoming more likely as the wet season approaches.
