Getting ashore

Cruise ships dock at Terminal A or B in Piraeus harbor; the X80 express bus runs right by the terminal entrances in cruise season (May to October), reaching the Acropolis area in under 30 minutes, while Metro Line 1 from Piraeus station goes to Monastiraki, a 750-meter walk from the Acropolis. One day comfortably covers the Acropolis, Agora, and Plaka on foot.
