EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

13 nights, Miami to Miami

December 6, 2026 – December 20, 2026 · 13 nights · 9 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey through Islands of Scenic Wonder & Coastal History

Thirteen nights, round-trip from Miami, nine stops down the eastern arc of the Caribbean. The pace is unhurried without being lazy: Miami bookends both ends of the sailing, and a string of small islands fills the middle, several of them reached by tender rather than a pier. Saint John is two-thirds national park, so the day there is protected beaches and reef, not duty-free shopping; the Lind Point Trail behind the Cruz Bay visitor center walks you to a near-empty beach without fighting for a taxi. Terre-de-Haut in the Saintes is a few square kilometers of red-roofed Creole houses settled by Breton and Norman fishing families, where Fort Napoleon closes around 12:30, so you see it first thing. Gustavia keeps large ships out by design, so you tender into a harbor that never feels crowded. San Juan is the rare call where Explora ties up at the Old San Juan piers themselves, with the walled colonial town a few steps from the gangway.

This itinerary rewards a traveler who likes small islands and beach days over big-city ports and packed excursion sheets. Several stops, Road Bay and Grand Turk among them, land you straight onto the sand with bar shacks and a reef wall and little else. If you want shopping, nightlife, or a different port character each morning, look elsewhere; Miami eats a day at each end, and the islands repeat a quiet rhythm. For the right traveler, that repetition is the point.

Explora III is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
