EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

6 nights, San Juan to Miami

January 29, 2027 – February 5, 2027 · 6 nights · 6 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey of Sun-Hazed Islands & Caribbean Treasures

Six nights, six islands, one direction: San Juan down through the Caribbean and back up the Florida Keys into Miami. That cadence is brisk, a port nearly every day, so this reads as an island sampler rather than a slow soak. The hooks are real. In San Juan the ship ties up at the Old San Juan piers themselves, so the cobbled grid of pastel houses and two stone forts starts a few steps from the gangway; walk the Paseo de la Princesa early, before the heat and the tour buses. Road Town is a launch point more than a destination: the ferry terminal is a short walk from the ship, and the roughly 30-minute crossing reaches The Baths on Virgin Gorda, a far better sight than Tortola itself. In Antigua, skip the duty-free quays and take a taxi to a beach or Nelson's Dockyard. Key West fits inside a square mile you can cover on foot.

Pick this if you want range over depth and don't mind a port a day. Skip it if you want to settle in slowly. One honest flag: Providenciales is a tender port with no backup pier, so the whole Grace Bay day hinges on sea state, and a windy morning can thin the tenders. Provo and Miami are also gateway days that lean on a rideshare or a boat to pay off.

Explora III is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
