EXPLORA II · Mediterranean & Western Europe

10 nights, Fusina (Venice) to Piraeus (Athens)

October 29, 2026 – November 9, 2026 · 10 nights · 10 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey Through Seaside Legends & Living History

Ten nights, ten stops, one way from the Venetian Lagoon down the Adriatic and through the Greek islands to Athens. That math tells you the pace: this is a town-a-day itinerary, not a slow one, with no cruising days built in to catch your breath. The hooks are mostly walkable old towns, and the good ones reward arriving early. In Dubrovnik you want to be on the walls the instant they open and circle counter-clockwise from Pile Gate, because the first hour is the only quiet, shadeless window before the coach tours arrive around ten. Zadar is the opposite, an evening port: time it so the Sea Organ and the Greeting to the Sun line up at dusk, which is the one thing the town does that nowhere else does. Volos ties up in the heart of town, close enough to walk to a tsipouradiko where you order rounds and the kitchen sends out a different seafood meze each time. Nafplio rewards an early climb up Palamidi, then a descent into town.

Pick this if you like a new walled town under your feet each morning and don't mind moving. Skip it if you want sea days or a single base to settle into. Note the bookends: Fusina sits across the lagoon from Venice and the water shuttle adds real time, and Piraeus is a transfer day into Athens. Both eat hours.

EXPLORA II is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
