EXPLORA I · Caribbean & Central America

17 nights, Miami to Miami

January 11, 2027 – January 29, 2027 · 17 nights · 11 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey of Coastal Marvels & Caribbean Dreams

Seventeen nights, eleven calls, out and back from Miami, with the arc bending east through the Greater Antilles before it drops south to Central America and curls home through the Florida Keys. That length buys you variety most Caribbean sailings can't. Walkable old towns where the ship ties up at the door: San Juan, where Explora berths at the Old San Juan piers and the cobbled grid starts a few steps from the gangway, and Key West, a square mile of conch houses you cover on foot. Reef-and-beach days at Roatan, where the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef sits close enough to snorkel a living coral wall off the sand at West Bay. And The Baths on Virgin Gorda, a one-way scramble through house-size granite boulders to Devil's Bay that rewards tendering in on the first wave.

Who it rewards: a traveler who wants range over efficiency, and who reads a couple of inland-transfer ports as a fair trade for the rest. Two of these calls are gateways, not destinations. Santo Tomas de Castilla is a working container terminal with nothing walkable, so the day lives entirely in one booked excursion to Quirigua or the Rio Dulce. Belize City is the same, anchored offshore with the real draw 30 minutes out. If a slow, port-light sailing is what you're after, this isn't it; the pace is dense and shore-driven. If that variety is the point, few itineraries pack in more.

Explora I is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
