EXPLORA I · South America & Amazon

18 nights, Manaus to Miami

February 17, 2027 – March 8, 2027 · 18 nights · 16 stops

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey of Rainforest Wonders & Ocean Serenity

This is two trips stitched into one. The first half runs a thousand miles up the Amazon and back down: Manaus and its rubber-boom opera house, the river town of Parintins with its bull-festival arena, the clear blue Tapajós water at Alter do Chão, and the equator line through Macapá's Marco Zero monument. Then the ship clears into the Atlantic at Devil's Island, where you tender to Île Royale and walk the old penal-colony ruins, and the back half becomes a long, varied Caribbean run: the granite grottoes of The Baths at Virgin Gorda, the walled Spanish colonial town at San Juan, and beach islands like Anguilla's Road Bay and Grand Turk before Miami.

Eighteen nights and sixteen stops is a lot of port, so the pace is full, not slow. The Amazon leg in particular is about rivers and excursions: several of these are tender calls onto sand or village waterfronts, and ports like Macapá can run long immigration with no real terminal. Come for the contrast of jungle capital to colonial Caribbean and the time to absorb both halves. If you want a tight, single-region island hop or a low-effort week, this is the wrong itinerary. The deep-river days reward curiosity over a beach checklist.

Explora I is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
