EXPLORA II · Mediterranean & Western Europe

6 nights, Fusina (Venice) to Piraeus (Athens)

June 21, 2027 – June 28, 2027 · 6 nights · 7 stops

Explora's name for it: A Journey of Adriatic Splendour & Mediterannean Delights

Six nights, seven stops, and not a single idle day at sea. This is a one-way run that starts on the edge of the Venetian lagoon, works south down the Adriatic through Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro, then crosses to the Ionian and Aegean to finish at the port of Athens. The pace is brisk, a port nearly every day, which suits people who want to keep moving. A few calls earn the morning on their own terms. Kotor is the standout: the ship threads a deep fjord-like bay for about an hour before the town appears, and the berth sits roughly 200 meters from the Sea Gate. Dubrovnik is about walking the full circuit of the intact medieval walls, counter-clockwise from Pile Gate the instant they open, before the coach tours arrive. Koper empties by mid-afternoon when other ships send everyone inland, so the back lanes are yours. Milos rewards getting on the water, since Kleftiko and the sea caves are only reachable by boat.

A word of honesty. Both bookends cost you. Fusina is a mainland terminal that needs a water shuttle into Venice, and Piraeus puts Athens about 10 km inland, so neither endpoint is a casual stroll off the ship. If you want a slow, one-region soak, look elsewhere. This is for travelers who like a packed, port-rich route across three seas.

Explora II is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
