EXPLORA IV · Northern Europe, Iceland & Greenland

15 nights, Southampton to Copenhagen

May 2, 2027 – May 18, 2027 · 15 nights · 12 stops

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey of Nordic Allure & Timeless Coastal Beauty

Fifteen nights, twelve stops, and a route that starts in England and ends in Denmark by way of the Norwegian fjords and the Baltic capitals. The first stretch is Norway in earnest: Stavanger, where the quay opens straight onto a walkable old quarter, then Bergen, where the wooden Hanseatic wharf of Bryggen sits about ten minutes from the pier and the Floibanen funicular lifts you over the city. Flåm puts you 200 to 300 meters from one of the steepest standard-gauge railways in the world. Then the pace shifts east into the Baltic: Helsinki's harbor sights cluster within a short walk, Stockholm reveals itself across fourteen islands on the archipelago approach, and Tallinn delivers a near-complete medieval walled town a few minutes from the berth.

This itinerary rewards a traveler who wants both Norwegian scenery and Baltic city-walking in one stretch, and who does not mind a couple of gateway calls. Zeebrugge is a working cargo port where the real day is Bruges, 15 to 17 km inland, so you ride in and ride back. Southampton tends to be a turnaround call rather than a sightseeing one. If you want fjords alone, or capitals alone, a shorter sibling sailing fits better than fifteen nights of both.

Explora IV is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
