14 nights, Miami to Miami

December 27, 2026 – January 11, 2027 · 14 nights · 13 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey through Island Joys & Volcanic Majesty

This round-trip from Miami runs fourteen nights and calls in thirteen places, so the pace is full: a string of Eastern Caribbean islands with one sea day worked in for fireworks. The route leans on the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and the Leewards, and the strongest stops are the ones where the ship lands you at the doorstep. San Juan ties up at the Old San Juan piers themselves, the cobbled grid a few steps from the gangway; walk the Paseo de la Princesa first thing, then climb to El Morro for late-morning light. St. Kitts puts you a five-minute walk from a colonial center built around a circle modeled on Piccadilly. Saint John is the quiet one, two-thirds national park, built around protected beaches reached by tender into little Cruz Bay. Montserrat anchors a day on its volcano, with the ash-buried town of Plymouth viewable only from safe vantage points or a permitted guide.

This itinerary rewards travelers who want islands stacked back to back and do not mind anchoring and tendering at several of them, including Jost Van Dyke, where you wade ashore at Soggy Dollar by design. Skip it if you want sea days to decompress; there is essentially one. And know that some calls, like Tortola, are launch points rather than destinations, the real prize being a thirty-minute ferry to The Baths on Virgin Gorda.

EXPLORA I is all-suite and all-oceanfront throughout.
