EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

15 nights, San Juan to Miami

February 12, 2027 – February 28, 2027 · 15 nights · 9 stops

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey of Relaxing Waters & Blissful Shores

Fifteen nights, nine stops, one way from San Juan to Miami, looping through the eastern Caribbean and the north coast of the Dominican Republic before the long run up to Florida. The pace is unhurried but full: most calls are walkable or tender-direct, with real beach days built in rather than padding. San Juan starts you steps from the gangway at the Old San Juan piers, so the cobbled grid of pastel houses and the two harbor forts are a short walk. At Terre-de-Haut in the Saintes, the ship anchors and tenders you straight to the village center, where Fort Napoleon closes around half past noon and the local bakers still make tourment d'amour the old way. Virgin Gorda exists for The Baths, a one-way scramble through house-size granite boulders to Devil's Bay that rewards tendering in on the first wave. Anguilla's Road Bay lands you on the sand itself.

This itinerary rewards travelers who want range over depth: colonial towns, duty-free harbors, and several swim-and-relax islands like Cayo Levantado and Road Bay where the day is the beach and not much else. If you want dense, big-city culture or shore excursions with heavy substance, look elsewhere. Miami and Puerto Plata's resort-style terminals can eat into a day, and the beach calls reward people who came to slow down, not to fill a checklist.

The ship is all-suite, all-oceanfront.
