EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

15 nights, Miami to San Juan

February 19, 2027 – March 7, 2027 · 15 nights · 10 stops

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey of Pearl-Blue Horizons & Maritime Grace

This is a long arc, 15 nights from Miami to San Juan with 10 stops, and it never pretends to be a quick getaway. You start with a day of contrast in Miami, where the free Metromover loop doubles as a no-cost bay-and-skyline circuit, then work east through the islands. Puerto Plata gives you a Spanish fort and a cable car that only earns its place on a clear morning, before the mist caps Mount Isabel de Torres by midday. Then the rhythm slows into beach calls: Cayo Levantado, a tender-only swim day where the eastern beaches stay half as quiet, and Road Bay, where you land on Anguilla's sand among bar shacks. The real prizes hide a short taxi away. At Spanish Town, the day exists for The Baths, a one-way scramble through house-size boulders to Devil's Bay, best done on the first tender. San Juan ends the line at the Old San Juan piers, with El Morro a short uphill climb.

This itinerary rewards a traveler who wants depth over checklist and is fine with several pure beach-and-relax days, plus a fair amount of tendering. If you want big-ticket excursions or a fast, port-dense pace, skip it. Many of these calls reward walking, swimming, and one good taxi run, not a packed tour. Note that San Juan is the disembarkation port, not a sea day.

EXPLORA III is all-suite and all-oceanfront.
