EXPLORA III · Caribbean & Central America

14 nights, Miami to Miami

January 21, 2027 – February 5, 2027 · 14 nights · 11 stops · round-trip

Explora's name for it: An Extended Journey through Caribbean Treasures & Peaceful Nature

Fourteen nights round-trip from Miami, eleven calls, and almost no town you have to suffer through to reach a better one. That is the honest shape of this sailing: a dense run of small Eastern Caribbean harbors where the ship usually ties up close enough to walk. San Juan is the clearest example, with Explora docking at the Old San Juan piers themselves, so the cobbled grid, the cathedral, and El Morro start a few steps from the gangway. Saint-Pierre is the other end of the register, a quiet Martinique bay where you tender to the ruins left by Mont Pelee's 1902 eruption and walk the stone shells on foot. In between, Basseterre puts you a five-minute walk from a Georgian town center, and Road Town's real value is the 30-minute ferry to The Baths on Virgin Gorda, a far better sight than Tortola itself.

This itinerary rewards a traveler who likes a full, port-heavy two weeks and does not need sea days to decompress. If you want long stretches of open water or a slower rhythm, pick a different route. Note too that Road Bay and Providenciales are tender calls with no backup pier, so a windy morning can thin the day, and Provo in particular hinges entirely on sea state.

Explora III is all-suite and all-oceanfront, every room facing the water.
